President Mnangagwa Swears in New Deputy Ministers at State House

President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Monday officially swore in Honourable Kiven Mutimbanyoka as Deputy Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, alongside Honourable Fred Moyo as Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at State House in Harare and forms part of ongoing efforts by the government to strengthen leadership and enhance service delivery across key economic and social sectors.

Honourable Mutimbanyoka assumes her new role at a time when the Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development ministry is prioritising women empowerment, community development, and the growth of small and medium enterprises as drivers of inclusive economic growth.

Meanwhile, Honourable Fred Moyo’s appointment to the Mines and Mining Development portfolio comes as Zimbabwe continues to position the mining sector as a cornerstone of economic transformation. His role is expected to support policy implementation, investment facilitation, and the sustainable development of the country’s vast mineral resources.

The appointments reflect President Mnangagwa’s commitment to reinforcing governance structures and advancing national development priorities across strategic sectors of the economy.
